A few bright lights in an otherwise VERY ordinary, VERY plain opening night. Simon was cranky, Randy was crotchety, Paula was annoying. I disagreed with Simon (and, after watching the whole episode, he probably would, too) that Rudy's performance wasn't energized enough. Gosh if it wasn't for him, there wouldn't have been any show. And now, an unprecedented first in AI history, I will now call the final 6 guys. Let's just skip over the next 2 weeks and get right to the good stuff: Rudy, Brandon, Jared, Blake, Chris, and A.J. The finals will be 2 girls. Deboobily out. My thoughts on “Idol”…
